In the past, podcasting has been thought of as a way to share audio presentations. In other words, almost like different radio stations from all over the world, about all different topics, that you can tune into on your iPod or mp3 player. However, the podcasting future is growing fast, and is changing too. Not only are people interested in sharing what they have to say, but now, with the changing handheld devices, we can share video as well. Nowadays, the iPod isn’t being used just to listen to music while you’re at the gym. You can watch movies, store pictures, and even get on to the Internet with it! The newest model is basically an iPhone without the ability to make phone calls. Who would’ve thought? With the ability to download movies, and play them right on your TV screen, why should we limit our podcasts to just talk? The podcasting industry is sky rocketing right now, it seems that we are a narcissistic generation and we all have so much to say! Not only that, but think about what this means for our future. Online courses can be taught virtually, from anywhere in the world. Meetings, demonstrations, you name it; it soon will be podcasted I’m sure. The rapid growth of this new tool is phenomenal, but it still hasn’t been fully developed. What does that mean for us? Research! If this seems like an interest to you, let us know! We’re always up for new ideas, and as always, if you have something you’d like to turn into a podcast, Paragon Media One is your company.
